Snaplage

Snaplage HarvestingWhat is snaplage?

With the help of an adaptor plate we have mounted a six row
combine head onto out self-propelled forage harvestor. Using
this combination we can harvest only the ears, chop them fairly fine,
and then run them through the processor. The snaplage is than
ready for storage without having the use a roller mill.

In average corn we tend to harvest around five to seven ton
of product per acre.

Snaplage gives the added benefit of finely chopped cobs that
can add needed fiber to your forage ration.

Please check the prices page for the costs associated
with snaplage harvesting.
